Edwardian Conservatories

This traditional design features characteristics of the Edwardian era, with a bold rectangular shape to create maximum floor space. Its glass four sided pitched roof allows plenty of light to enter this room, for a bright and airy living space.

    Lean to Conservatories

Especially when opting for a glazed roof, a lean to structure and lack of ornate detail means that this conservatory definitely brings the most light into your home while also being the most affordable.

      Victorian Conservatories

Sometimes people like to refer to a Victorian conservatory as a Victorian sun-room. Unlike a lean to conservatory, these have high ornate roofs with a faceted or rounded style. These make beautiful additions to older properties but can also be a quality feature on newer builds.

      Orangery

An orangery is a home extension with a glass roof typically covering less than 75% of the overall roof area, and glass walls covering less than 50% of the total wall area. The noticeable difference between a conservatory and an orangery is that a conservatory is a glass structure with a brick base and a pitched glazed roof. And an Orangery is a brick structure with large windows and a flat roof with glass lantern.
